LDA’s Crackdown: Over 80 Illegal Buildings Sealed in Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has recently intensified its operations against illegal constructions and violations of building bylaws in Lahore. In a significant move, the LDA sealed over 80 buildings located in LDA Avenue-I and Jubilee Town. These buildings included private schools, property dealers, laboratories, stores, and offices that were being used for illegal commercial purposes.

This action is part of an ongoing effort by the LDA to enforce strict compliance with building regulations and to curb unauthorized commercial activities. The operation was supervised by Director Town Planning-II Azhar Ali, and it involved coordinated efforts with enforcement teams and local police. According to LDA officials, several notices had been issued to the owners of these buildings before the operation was carried out​.
